Stranger Things returns for second season next year

Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the role of the “Eleven”, a child with psychokinetic gifts, shared an Instagram post with the caption, “Stranger Things Season 2 has been confirmed”. However, they did say that there will be a total of four new characters in season 2. Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact release date, but we do know it will be sometime in 2017. “We leave that up in the air”, he added.

The second season will pick up a year after the events of the first one.

The second season will consist of nine episodes, as opposed to the first season’s eight.

21 Laps will be producing alongside executive producers Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and the Duffer brothers.
