Jose Mourinho has one piece of advice for Paul Pogba

Mourinho will be looking to change his tactics to get the best out of Pogba, especially after United broke the world record transfer fee to bring him back to the club.

The two-time Chelsea manager added: “He had no pre-season and played in the Euro 2016 final”.

However, Mourinho says he is “full of trust” in the 23-year-old and insists his performances will improve.

“You make a relation between what you pay and the club revenue, and realise that other clubs paying 20, 30, 40 [million pounds] is a much bigger thing than what Man United did”, the boss told reporters.

“The world-record player is always a question, but I want Paul to forget that”, said Mourinho, according to BBC Sport.

Pogba was part of the first team that lost 1-0 to Feyenoord in their opening match of the Europa League campaign which has infuriated majority of United fans and in particular, Paul Scholes.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes Paul Pogba’s inability to perform is a result of Jose Mourinho’s faulty tactics.

“He’s not the greatest controller of a football game”, the ex-England global told BT Sport ahead of United’s Europa League clash with Feyenoord. It is not a problem with his position. Scholes reckons that he is still not sure about his position in the squad and needs to be managed properly to get the best out of him.

“I think he’s trying to do too much now on the ball”.

“And if the players at this age need. the great life, the money, they have to do what they want, I think they shouldn’t need an extra source of motivation”.

The French midfielder is the most expensive player in the world right now after United paid £89 million to lure him away from Juventus. “He seems to be a little bit all over the place at times”.

Hes trying to beat three or four players.

“Just keep it simple for now”.

“United didn’t but Lionel Messi to go and beat five players and stick it in the top corner”. Hes got skill, he can pass it forward, he can run.
