Giuliani says Trump is better for the US ‘than a woman’

US Paper Facing Threats For Endorsing Hillary Clinton

Trump made his attacks while delivering his first comments about a New York Times report that said he took more than $900 million in losses in 1995 that could have allowed him to avoid paying federal income taxes for almost two decades. Real racism, Trump should say, is refusing to allow minority children in failing public schools to escape them in favor of better ones simply because many teachers’ unions oppose school choice and contribute significantly to the Democratic Party.

Donald Trump on Saturday evening offered up the surest sign yet that he is returning to the bombastic, bare-knuckle style that defined his primary run as he wrapped up a week that raised fresh concerns about his presidential campaign’s viability. “And they should not be allowed to flush the fact of their Trump support down the memory hole when the election is behind us”.

He acknowledged business failures as well as successes but declared, “I’m still here”. As trump’s supporters defend what they say is the candidate’s genius, the Clinton campaign is hitting trump hard.

“Trump was taking from America with both hands and leaving the rest of us with the bill”, Clinton said. “He had a bad debate performance”. While she solidified her base and is likely to see a poll boost, it will be moderate. Eleven state polls were out this week.

“She’s a really sarcastic woman. And so this is the latest meltdown”.

The Trump campaign thinks it can attract a significant number of Sanders’ Democratic supporters who are unhappy with Clinton as their nominee.

Echoing the campaign’s official response, former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani called Trump an “absolute genius”‘ on CNN yesterday.

Speaking on “Fox News Sunday”, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie dismissed the idea that Trump had done anything wrong or that the report would hurt him.

Reporter: Tonight, trump’s campaign isn’t denying the report.

At the Trump Tower, there are complaints about media coverage but also a promise to be more prepared for the second debate next Sunday. Trump often uses vulgar language and gives racist remarks. Since a rocky debate last week, Trump has engaged in a distracting feud with a former beauty queen he called “Miss Piggy” because she gained weight during her reign. If Trump can close that deal, he is likely to score a “B” in the next debate.

In a survey of 497 likely OH voters conducted in the days after the first presidential debate, 47 percent of respondents backed Trump, versus 42 percent who picked Clinton. (Khizr Khan, anyone?) Trump did that again – and again – over the past six days. The new poll shows Clinton’s lead consistent with where the Democratic nominee was earlier this summer. Donations to the Clinton Foundation while she was secretary of State raise concerns that donors were hoping to buy access. “I will consider it a tremendous waste of time, energy and money”.

If Clinton captures North Carolina, Trump would have to carry perennially tight OH and Florida, plus Democrat-leaning Pennsylvania, and sweep less populous close states that appear increasingly out of reach. In the middle of a 25-minute improvised rant that was only supposed to be one minute of a carefully prepared statement, Trump wondered aloud if Hillary was the one cheating on Bill.

The GOP nominee’s only route to the White House lies in running the table through the Rust Belt from Pennsylvania, through Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin. It’s not working. Nobody really cares much about this stuff anymore, and even the small interest that remains was wiped out by the tax story. There has never been evidence of widespread voting fraud in the United States.

This marked another crucial endorsement for Clinton, since OH is a swing state that could tip the election. “If you vote for a third-party candidate who’s got no chance to win, that’s a vote for Trump”. It turns out that lots of people think that billionaires probably ought to pay income tax. They support their schools.

“Right now, you say to your wife: ‘Let’s go to a movie after Trump.’ But you won’t do that because you’ll be so high and so excited that no movie is going to satisfy you, OK?” Many Americans want change.
